Interface is a stainless steel smart ring from Natura, a San Francisco startup, that sends what you say to AI agents. You press and hold the button, speak, and release; Natura's NatureOS app passes the request to the agent you chose, such as Claude, Codex, Instinct or Muse. A double press records a meeting, with a transcript, speaker labels and a recap. It also tracks heart rate, sleep, steps and skin temperature. Natura has not published a price or ship date yet: its page is a waitlist. TechCrunch reported a $99 launch price, with pre-orders expected in November 2026 and shipping in December or January.

What Does Interface Do?

It is a button on your finger for AI agents. You press and hold, say what you want, and let go. NatureOS sends the request to the agent you have connected, and you choose which apps each agent is allowed to use. The answer comes back as audio in your headphones, as an update on your iPhone lock screen, or in full inside NatureOS.

In TechCrunch's report, Natura's examples included checking your schedule, starting workout tracking, reordering shampoo, turning off the TV and setting an alarm, and sending notes to a coworker. Natura's page lists tinyNature, Codex, Claude, Hermes, Instinct, OpenClaw and Muse as agents it works with.

It Records Meetings Too

This is the part that sets Interface apart from most AI rings. A double press starts a recording and another double press stops it. Natura says you get a full transcript, speaker identification and a recap, saved to NatureOS. A light on the ring shows when it is recording: "A discreet light makes recording visible."

It is still deliberate capture. Natura says recording only happens when you use the button, and that the ring is not always listening.

Health Tracking

Interface also does what Oura and other health rings do: heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep stages (awake, light, deep and REM), steps, daily activity and skin temperature over time. Natura is careful to say these are "in validation" and that final capabilities will be confirmed before release.

How Much Does Interface Cost?

Natura has not said. Its page reads: "Price, battery life and delivery timing will be confirmed before you order." TechCrunch, reporting on 8 October 2026, said Interface would launch at $99 with a price increase planned later, and that a $9 monthly subscription would start after a free period of three to six months. Treat those as reported figures until Natura's checkout shows them.

When Does Interface Ship?

Natura's page offers a waitlist, not orders, and gives no date. TechCrunch reported that pre-orders were expected to open in November 2026, with shipping in December or January. Interface is on our upcoming AI hardware list with that estimate.

Battery, Build and Fit

Natura quotes 6 to 12 days per charge in daily use, depending on recording and health readings, and 13 hours of continuous recording. It notes that the 13-hour figure "is calculated from measured power draw, not a full battery-life test" and excludes audio transfer. A full charge takes 100 minutes, 80% takes 75 minutes, and the charging case holds 10 full recharges.

The ring is stainless steel in brushed silver with polished edges, 7.35 mm wide, in US sizes 7 to 13. It is designed for the index finger with the button facing your thumb. TechCrunch quoted Natura's founder saying it can be worn in the shower and while sleeping, but the page says the final water-resistance rating will be confirmed before release.

What Happens to Your Audio?

Recordings and meeting notes are saved to NatureOS. Natura's page does not say whether audio is processed on the ring, on your phone or in the cloud, or how long recordings are kept. It also says details about what works without a connection will be confirmed before pre-orders.

What Natura Has Not Published

  • Price, subscription and ship date. Only TechCrunch's reported figures so far.
  • Android support. The page mentions iPhone only.
  • A water-resistance rating.
  • Where audio is processed and how long it is kept.
  • Final health features. They are still in validation.

Is Interface a Memory Device?

Partly. Day to day, Interface is a press-to-talk ring for agents, closer to Spark Ring or Button. Its meeting mode does capture conversations, but only the ones you remember to start with a double press. For other rings, see Pebble Index 01 vs Sandbar Stream.

Where Legend Fits

Legend One is built for the conversations you would not think to record. It is a voice-first AI memory pendant made for people with ADHD, worn at chest height and always on all day, with a Halo light when it is active. It is not a medical device and does not treat ADHD. Legend turns your conversations into text, with no audio to play back and none kept in your account, and gives you daily summaries and auto-generated to-dos in the Legend App. Legend still captures audio to create the transcript, so recording and consent laws may apply where you live. It is $499 USD including the first year of membership, with free worldwide shipping. Orders ship within 30 days, then arrive in about 14 business days. See how it works.

The Takeaway

Natura Interface packs three jobs into one ring: a press-to-talk button for AI agents, a double-press meeting recorder with transcripts, and Oura-style health tracking. It is still a waitlist. Natura has not confirmed the price, ship date, water rating or subscription, though TechCrunch reported $99, a later $9 a month, and shipping around December or January. Join the waitlist if the mix appeals, and check the confirmed details before you order.
