Refund policy

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. This policy covers returns and refunds for Legend One. For hardware warranty coverage, see our warranty page.

Change of mind

If you simply change your mind, we are not legally required to accept a return. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery if the product is in good condition, with its original packaging and accessories. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping in these cases. To start a return, contact support@legendmemory.ai. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process your refund to your original payment method, usually within 10 business days.

We cannot accept returns for products that are damaged by misuse, modified or tampered with, or sent back without first contacting us.

Faulty, unsafe, or not as described

If your device is faulty, unsafe, not as described, or does not work as promised, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law if you purchased in Australia. In these cases, we will cover the cost of return shipping. Contact support@legendmemory.ai with proof of purchase and a description of the issue, and we will provide a prepaid return label and instructions.

Australian Consumer Law

If you purchased in Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality without amounting to a major failure. These rights exist independently of this policy.

Digital and membership fees

Membership fees cover ongoing transcription, storage, and support, and are non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by law. If you cancel your membership, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Exceptions

We do not accept returns for gift cards or digital-only products.

European Union 14-day cooling off period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days, for any reason, without justification. The item must be in the same condition you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging, and you will need your receipt or proof of purchase.
